4D Ultrasound at 32-33 Weeks
The past few weeks have been flying by. This weekend we went to Prenatal Peek in Diamond Bar to get a 4D Ultrasound. We went on a Saturday, but since Christian was covering his face with his arm, we had to reschedule for Monday which happened to also be a regular prenatal appointment.
I also finally had a chance to get started on painting the nursery in addition to going on a baby supply shopping spree. Since we aren’t planning on having a traditional baby shower and instead having a baby welcoming, we’ve been buying all kinds of essentials like blankets, onesies, bath supplies, a bassinet, etc. We also scored another stroller, the Chicco Cortina Travel System – Synergy.
We’ve also had two other prenatal appointments since the last post. This is from Cinco de Mayo:
28 Weeks and 2 Days
From the feedback that we’ve gotten from the doctors and 4D tech, Christian is healthy and chubby with lots of hair.
Profile Shots and a Bumbleride
We had another chance to see Christian in the womb. The OB-GYN doctor did a few routine examinations and told us that everything looks good.
26 Weeks and 3 Days
The day after the appointment, the stroller we’ve been searching for, after missing out on a good online-only deal from Babies R Us, arrived a week late from an Amazon seller (avoid 16th Avenue Pharmacy, Inc. aka 911drugstore.com). The deal wasn’t as good as Babies R Us, but it was the best around. We’re also waiting on a matching diaper bag, the Bumbleride Jam Pack in Lava, that ships on May 5 from Fawn and Forest. Hello world!
I finally gave in and decided to start a blog. The main reason for this is to document the changes occurring around me. The main one being a new baby coming into our lives. I’ve been married for two and a half years, and in that time, we lost one at 5 months and another at about 6 weeks. My wife just reached a milestone that we are truly excited about: the first trimester is over and she is just passed 14 weeks. Our expected due date is 7.26.2009.
12.3.2008 – 6 weeks and 4 days
12.8.2008 – 7 weeks and 4 days
12.15.2008 – 9 weeks! Happy Birthday to me!
12.30.2008 – 12 weeks and 2 days
1.9.2009 – 12 weeks and 2 days
1.21.2009 – 13 weeks and 3 days
Reyna just went through a procedure in which a cerclage was inserted to prevent her cervix from dilating prematurely and will be taken out around 36 weeks. From there nature will take its course.
